Exim Security Updates
An Exim exploit was made public today. Exim is the Mail Transfer Agent cPanel uses for SMTP on all cPanel servers. This is considered a high-risk vulnerability as it could potentially lead to a root-level compromise. Here is a link to the cPanel Advisory. As a fix was available when the issue was announced, CompitentHosting's team began immediately patching all servers. At this time nearly all VPS and Shared servers have been patched, and a large percentage of dedicated servers have been as well. We will be continue updating all effected servers until they are all updated. You are not required to perform any action.
